Ice Refridgerated Train Car
SCENIC & STRUCTURAL FABRICATION
The Ice Reefer Car display brings historic rail transport into a museum setting. Our work focused on the scenic structure and details for this traveling exhibit. Built at half-scale, the Ice Reefer Car recreates a section of a wooden railcar. The build includes the rear and side walls, partial roof, hatch, and roof walk, along with the wheel assembly, rails, ties, and ballast.

Flavors of Texas Flip Panel
PRECISION & INTERACTIVE FABRICATION
The free-standing flip panel features a 3 x 5 grid of 15 cubes. We fabricated the cubes and assembled the bearings, collars, and rods that allow them to turn. Visitors can rotate the cubes independently which gives them a hands-on way to explore the display. We fabricated and assembled the moving components, including the bearings, collars, and rods.

SCENIC & MIXED-MATERIAL FABRICATION
Immersive Spice Routes

The Spice Routes display brings the story of the spice trade to life through scenic details and hands-on scensory elements. Visitors can smell and learn about the spices by lifting the cans attached to retractable cables, which trigger an audio recording. The scenic counter, crates, awning, and backlit map create the setting for this interactive experience.
